Art in the Square 
Our yearly fundraising show Art in the Square, is now on display at the gallery. It the last exhibition or the year. All works are 12×12, unframed and each is selling for $100.
A reception will be held on Dec 4-6pm. It will remain on display until January.
Update on Art in the Square
As of Jan 1 we have sold 157 squares being an all time record! 25% of this goes to our scholarship fund!
The show will remain on display at the gallery and will be open by chance throughout the month and until we need to close the gallery for cleanup.

We would like to thank everyone who entered this show, and congratulate those who were chosen to exhibit.  Congratulations to the winners who are listed below.
This year’s juror was Liam Sullivan, Director of Enrollment and Outreach at Maine College of Art (MECA).
A big thank you to all our sponsors who help to make this show so special.
 This show is now finished, but the winner of the people’s choice award will be announced at the reception for Art in the Square on Dec 3.
And here are this year’s winners:
Best in Show, sponsored by Sherman’s Books and Stationery, was Jamie Wiggin of South Thomaston, for ‘Distant.’
Second Place, sponsored by the First national Bank, was Kandi Kangas of Tenants Harbor, for ‘Visit with Arden.
Third Place, sponsored by the 1st Federal Savings and Loan Bank, was Linda Murray of Bath, for ‘Simply Irresistible.’
Honorable Mention I, sponsored by the Board of Trustees of Boothbay Region Art Foundation, went to Dan Corey of Rockland, for “Flurry.’
Honorable Mention II, sponsored by Boothbay Harbor Framers, went to Betsy Palmer of Nobleboro, for ‘Decadence.’

The First Annual Plein Air Painters of Maine prize, sponsored by Conley’s Garden Center, went to Ellen Pelletier of Kennebunk, for ‘Winter Glow.’

Member Web Gallery

Artists, if you would like to have your work included in on the site, you can upgrade from a basic membership to a website membership which is $90.  Website members have an image of their work and a link to their contact information (website and email) in the Member Gallery.  The slide show on the front page randomly displays images from the Member Gallery.  Images submitted for the site should be a high quality jpeg (800×600 pixels) to display well.  Only those images that meet the size and quality guidelines will be shown in the Home page slideshow. The image should be titled.

Members and supporters can now join, renew memberships or make a donation to further the mission of the Boothbay Region Art Foundation.  The process has been streamlined and we can now accept a number of forms of payment on a secure encrypted site.
